Garfield Johnson, MD - Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery

Dr. Johnson’s background is very diverse. He attended college at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where he earned a bachelor of science in economics. While in college, he was a member of the Order of Alpha Omega Honor Society and Friars Senior Society. He worked for a year as a financial analyst before deciding to pursue a medical degree.

Dr. Johnson was awarded a four-year merit based tuition scholarship to attend medical school at the University of Michigan. When he wasn’t studying medicine, Dr. Johnson performed with the Voices of Healing, a medical school gospel choir. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the nationally acclaimed University of Michigan as well.
